Table of Contents
1. Seller Eligibility
Any individual or registered business resident in Nigeria or Cameroon may apply to sell on BANA. You must complete Tier 2 KYC (selfie liveness) before your first listing goes live.
BANA reserves the right to approve or reject seller applications without stating a reason.
2. Listing Standards
All listings must accurately represent the product: correct title, category, description, images, price, and stock count. Misleading listings will be taken down and may result in account suspension.
Prohibited items (see Terms of Service §4) may not be listed under any circumstances.
You are responsible for ensuring your products comply with applicable Nigerian and Cameroonian consumer protection and product safety laws.
3. Dispatch SLA
You must dispatch accepted orders within your stated SLA (default: 48 hours). Repeatedly failing to meet your SLA will result in automatic order cancellation and may affect your seller rating.
You must add a valid tracking number at the time of dispatch. Orders marked as shipped without tracking may be disputed by buyers.
4. Fees & Payouts
BANA charges a 2.7% platform fee on each completed transaction. This fee is deducted from the escrow payout at the time of release.
Payouts are processed on your chosen schedule (daily, weekly, or on-demand) to your registered MTN MoMo or bank account.
Minimum payout threshold is ₦500. Payouts below this threshold are held until the balance reaches the minimum.
5. Returns & Disputes
Buyers may raise a return request within 7 days of delivery (or your custom return window if shorter). You have 48 hours to approve or reject a return request.
If you reject a valid return, the buyer may escalate to BANA Operations. BANA's decision is final.
Sellers with a dispute rate above 3% in a 30-day window will have payouts withheld pending a review.
